Hi, I’m Simon.

I’m the person behind SimonVidaJewelry — designer, maker, photographer, website guy, customer support… basically everything. 🙂

I started making jewelry simply because I loved creating things with my hands. I’m completely self-taught, and what started as a hobby many years ago slowly grew into something much more important to me.

Everything you see here is made by me in my small workshop in Slovenia. I especially enjoy working with unusual materials such as titanium, zirconium and carbon fiber, and creating pieces that are a little different from what you would normally find in a jewelry store.

I don’t have a production line and I don’t keep shelves full of finished jewelry. Most pieces are made individually for the person who will wear them. That’s one of the things I still love most about what I do.

Life has slowed down a little for me in recent years. I’ve been dealing with some health issues that limit how much I can do in a day, so I now work at a gentler pace than I used to. This also means that sometimes my production times can be a little longer.

But I’m still here, still creating, and still genuinely happy every time a piece leaves my workshop and travels somewhere around the world. If anything, slowing down has made me appreciate the creative process even more.

When I’m not in my workshop, I’m a dad and someone who enjoys nature, photography, aviation, playing guitar, movies and probably too many other little interests and projects. 🙂

SimonVidaJewelry is small and personal, and I want to keep it that way.

So if you order something from me, there is no big company behind it. It’s just me, making your piece one at a time, as carefully as I can.
